Handout set of educational, laboratory and practical equipment on technology for primary grades

Purpose
The set is designed to introduce preschool and primary school children to the simplest composite mechanisms, concepts of electric current and electrical engineering, as well as to develop skills in constructing mechanisms and electrical circuits.

Areas of knowledge and application
The kit allows for individual and group lessons on designing mechanisms with parts, as well as introducing the concept of electricity, the principles of the simplest electrical circuits and the basics of electrical engineering.
Classes with the set allow us to create conditions for the development of technological literacy, critical and creative thinking, and global competencies in students, which are necessary for the transition to new priorities in the scientific and technological development of the Russian Federation.
The set can be a great addition to digital laboratory "Naurash in the country of Naurandiya" and to the set Naurashi Academy "Multimedia Lab".

What will the child learn?
The kit allows you to assemble 19 mechanisms - from an umbrella to a car differential, and can also serve as a demonstration set when studying machines and mechanisms.
The set will introduce the child to the concepts of electric current and electrical circuits.
The elements of the kit are used to create electrical circuits - both the simplest ones and those with serial and parallel connection of modules.
The kit develops basic electrical engineering skills and introduces the structure of simple electrical devices.
The set includes a large number of experimental tasks that allow children to become familiar with the concepts and operating principles of modern electrical devices in practice.

Updates
 - Individually
 - Work in pairs
 — Subgroups
 — Group lessons

One set is designed for simultaneous work of 2-4 children.
The more sets there are, the more children in a subgroup can study at the same time.
To ensure user safety, all electrical connections in the circuits included in the kit are made using magnets.

Cast:

 — Working area for design parts
 — Colored pieces in the form of 2x2x2 cm cubes (4 pieces)
 — Colored parts in the form of half-cubes 2x2x1 cm (19 pieces)
 - Colored beam-shaped parts (6 pieces)
These parts have the ability to connect to each other with vertical, horizontal and diagonal positioning, and also have the ability to be fixed on the work field.
 — An element for separating the parts of the set, which is made in the form of tweezers
 — Large gear (2 pieces)
 — Small gear (2 pieces)
 — Toothed rack with connecting pins (2 pieces)
 — Axle (8 pieces)
 — Current source with short circuit protection
 — RGB LED light with a recess for installing a brush made of light guides
 - Variable resistor
 - Non-locking button
 — Switch (2 pieces)
 — Piezo switch
 — Capacitor
 - Motor with propeller
 — LED
 — Sound signal source
 - Photoresistor
 — A set of connecting wires with magnetic contacts
 - Rubber mat
 — Brush made of light guides
 - Flashlight with batteries
 — Methodological support in Russian
 — Storage system

All electrical element housings are made of colored, environmentally friendly, impact-resistant plastic and have a sticker on top with a serial number and a graphic symbol indicating the electrical circuit element.
To make it easier for children to work with elements of electrical circuits, their bodies are cylinders of 2 different sizes.
For safety and ease of assembly of electrical circuits, the connection of elements is carried out using magnetic interaction; for this purpose, the element housings are equipped with magnetized contact pads.
The contact pads intended for connecting the positive and negative contacts of an electrical circuit have opposite polarity.
Each connecting wire has magnetized contact pads at the ends, the polarity of which is complementary to the contact pads of the housings of the electrical elements and eliminates the assembly of an electrical circuit without observing polarity.

The entire set comes in a plastic storage system with trays, which is closed with a transparent plastic lid with latches to ensure visibility of the contents.

Methodological support
The kit includes a methodological manual in Russian with a description of the operation of various mechanisms and step-by-step instructions for their assembly. The methodological manual contains color illustrations when describing each work.
The kit also includes a methodological manual in Russian, which introduces the following concepts:
 — "Current source" (battery, accumulator)
 — “Consumers of electric current” (electric motor, light, LED, sound module)
 — “Control elements” (key switch, pushbutton without fixation, piezo switch, photoresistor, variable resistor)
 — Connecting elements

The properties of the elements of the kit for assembling electrical circuits are explained with the necessary detail and maximum clarity.
The methodological support covers topics that reveal the features of assembling both the simplest electrical circuits, such as “source-switch-consumer”, and multi-element parallel and serial circuits.
Many tasks are designed for joint activities of a child and an adult. If the work is carried out with children who do not yet read well enough, then the text can be read by an adult, giving verbal explanations along the way.
